Tonight (Friday) I did manage to catch the STARZ channel's presentation of "Outlander." Like everybody else on these boards, I tuned in with high expectations but dismal hopes... Dismal, because virtually every movie "spanking" these days turns out to be a huge disappointment, with closeups and camera tricks taking the place of clear, uninterrupted spanking action.
But what an enchanting scene this is! Jamie (Sam Heughan) goes to great lengths, lecturing his lovely wife Claire (Caitriona Balfe) for her misbehavior, then removing his belt and beginning to whip her naked bottom with it. She resists, of course, but that just makes Jamie more intent on following through on this "marital necessity." Again and again we see his belt landing right on Claire's rear end. Of course there are a few "off-screen" smacks, but the director sees to it that most of the smacks are seen to make contact with their lovely target. It's a winner!
