Another spanking joke in Modern Family latest season where there is a miscommunication between Phil and Clare - Phil is talking about being in an online game, Clare thinks he's talking about them.
Phil asks if he can do some role-play. Clare asks what type and he replies medieval fantasy to which she seems agreeable. As he walks away and messages his gaming buddies he says "You are going to get so spanked!" and of course Clare thinks he is talking to her.
Later when she turns up in a Princess Leai/Xena type outfit there's a little bit of talk about punishment etc but no more "s" word unfortunately.
